Visa to Turkey
Russian citizens, as well as citizens of Ukraine and Belarus do not need to obtain a visa in order to come to Turkey. Once you arrive at the airport you will need to purchase a visa ticket stamp for $20, which grants the right for entry onto Turkish territory for a 2 month period.
Multiple entries using the same visa ticket are not possible in case you tour ends prior to visa expiration. In order to cross the border you will need to purchase a new ticket stamp. In addition, your passport must be valid for at least 3 more months after the end of your tour.
For residents of all countries except Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Libya, and Ceylon a passport will suffice to enter Turkey.
Residents of Armenia, Bulgaria, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Libya, and Ceylon will be required to obtain an entry visa ahead of time.
Citizens of all other countries travelling to Marmaris one way will be able to obtain an entry visa for a 1 month period from a representative of the Turkish Customs Authority for an additional fee of 10 US dollars at the port in Marmaris, Turkey.
Citizens of all countries except Angola, Burundi, Algeria, China, Armenia, Palestine, Congo, Mauritania, Sierra-Leone, travelling to Marmaris one way are required to have at least $300 USD in order to be able to obtain a visa. Citizens of the above mentioned countries are required to have at least $1500 USD in order to be allowed to pass.
If you are travelling with children you should keep in mind the following:
- Children under the age of 14 who do not have a passport must have their names written in the passports of their parents. All children above the age of 6 should also have a photo attached in their parents passports.
- If an underage child is travelling with only one of the parents they must be able to present a permission from the second parent certified by a notary.
- If an underage child (less than 18 years) is travelling unnaccompanied by the parents a permission signed by both parents and certified by a notary must be presented by the accompanying adult, or by the receiving party in Turkey.
- In the case of single parents one of the following documents may be accepted:
- a death certificate for one of the parents;
- a certificate of a single mother
- a certificate from the Civil Registry showing that the father's name in the birth certificate of the child was written from the words of the mother.
- a court decision ruling which certifies that the location of the second parent is unknown NOTARIZATION REQUIRED for all documents and copies.
