The International Pizza Challenge is conducted each April in the town of Salsomaggiore. This is a very popular event and receiving broad media coverage. Imagine that pizza making is turned into a show – an incredible jaw-dropping skill challenge show. True masters and professionals of pizza making will cook incredibly large size pizzas, accompanied by music, and dances, and… well, however you like. Participating in the challenge are pizzeria owners, cook, and simple fans of pizza. By the way, do you know how pizza makers call themselves? They call themselves pizzaiole.

The program will feature a speed challenge, a size challenge, and an original recipe challenge. Additionally, the program will feature a series of challenges where pizza shall be prepared in combination with some acrobatic stunts. The best pizza chefs will bake, fry, steam, chop, stir, and sing, dance, jump, all in front of your eyes. The amazing and unique Pizza Challenge awaits you in April 2009.
