The event scheduled for the beginning of June 2009 demonstrates, yet again, that sports do not limit one’s desires, nor abilities for self improvement and self expression. From the 6th to the 13th of June in Torino, Italy and its vicinities (Collegno, Mondovi, Avigliana) there will be a week dedicated to a beautiful, interesting, and really exciting event – The World Air Games.

Everything that is connected in some way or the other to air and its conquest, starting with hot air balloons and ending with miniature plane models will be represented in the best light and will certainly find many gratified persons among the viewers. In 2009 the World Air Games will be hosted by the Aero Club D’Italia under the patronage of the International Federation of air Sports, which comprises aeromodelism, gliding, air acrobatics, air races, aerostatics, parachute sports and much more – there are a total of 10 disciplines featured in the presentation. Delegations from all over the world will arrive at this event in order to meet with colleagues and competitors, challenge one another and discuss related topics.
