Paris invites for White Night Jul 05, 2009
The 8th White Night will take place in Paris between Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th. The main theme of this year will be the introduction of the public to modern art.
The White Night in Paris will start at 7PM and end at 7AM. The French and the international tourists who prefer nightlife will have an awesome opportunity to discover new aspects of the capital of France. They will be offered several excursion routes in different areas of the city.
For example, the participants of the feature will be able to take a tour of the Marais and St. Germain-de-Pres districts of Paris, where over 30 galleries, boutiques, bookstores and cafes will display video presentations of Israeli painters. Participants can also visit Les Halles Center, the City Theater in Châtelet Square and Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, where there will be exhibitions of the works of international artist.
In the Buttes-Chaumont Park, in XIXth district, visitors will have the unique opportunity to witness the sculptures of Nathan Cole, and the installations created by painters Noel Dolla and Rune Guneriussen. The full program of features and presentations can be found on the website of the White Night event. The final version of the website will be ready in September.
For the convenience of the participants of White Night in Paris the 11th Subway line will work all night between the 3rd and the 4th of October.
