Two new Radisson hotels opened in ParisNov 24, 2008The Rezidor Hotel Group announced two new Radisson properties in Paris. One of them is located in the IX arrondissement on Boulevard Haussmann, and another one in La Defense business district.
The historical building of Radisson Ambassador Hotel on Boulevard Haussmann has retained a 1920’s spirit. Since hotel’s owner changed, the hotel will undergo an extensive renovation which will be completed by end of the second quarter of 2010. Hotel will offer 296 rooms and suites, the “16 Haussmann” restaurant, “The Lindbergh Bar” named after Charles Lindberg, 8 meeting rooms, business centre, and a fitness area.
The Radisson Hotel Paris La Défense will be built in the upcoming business district La Défense and will be opened in the third quarter of 2011. It will be located close to the subway station “Esplanade de La Défense” and will provide easy access to the Paris Champs Elysees and the international airport Charles de Gaulle. It will offer over 20 floors and 343 rooms and suites, 1,000 m2 of conference and banquet rooms, several bars and restaurants, a sky bar on the top floor with beautiful views over Paris, according to press-release.
