Another museum dedicated to the Sicilian mafia may open soon in the Italian town of Salemi; and live Mafioso will work as museum exhibits. The idea of opening this venture came to the rather extravagant mayor of the town. Vittorio Sgabri is also a prominent art critic. Last may the mayor organized an exhibition of American painter Flavia Mantovan. The exhibition was called "Mafia Faces". Flavia painted the portraits of 20 most notable mafia bosses caught by the police. The most valuable exhibit promises to be a 97 year old man, who is the single oldest mafia crime boss still alive. According to the explanation given by mayor of Salemi, the old man has been losing touch with reality due to his age, but as an exhibit in the museum, with a name tag, he will look very intimidating, still.

The Sicilian mafia will remain one of the primary brands of the island for time to come. The attraction contributes crowds of curious tourists to Sicily every year. On the former lands of Cosa Nostra there are grain fields for spaghetti called "Anti-mafia", and the international airport in Palermo is named in honor of the most successful anti-mafia activists – prosecutors Falcone and Borsellino. The town of Corleone is already famous as a mafia museum; the same town was immortalized by Mario Puzo in his saga about the Godfather.
