Ski Force Winter Tour – testing skis and snowboards 2010 in full throttle Dec 10, 2009

During 4 consecutive weekends, at 4 mountain resorts in France (Val Thorens, Val d'Isère, Le Grand Bornand and Chamrousse) there will be free testing of skis and snowboards of the 2010 collection called Ski Force Winter Tour.

Starting November 21st, 2009 and until December 13th, 2009 fourteen of the world's largest brands including Atomic, Dynastar, Elan, Fischer, Head, K2, Kästle, Movement, Nordica, Rossignol, Roxy, Salomon, Scott and Völk will offer test rides of their new products completely free of charge. All the testers will be also have an opportunity to hear useful tips and consultations regarding the equipment directly from the manufacturer. The tour ended last weekend at Chamrousse 1650, closest to Grenoble, located at a mere 30 minute drive from there.

Ski Force Winter Tour – is a mass gathering and a very popular one as well. Every year the event brings together professionals and fans of skiing and snowboarding at the mountains resorts of Europe. These unique days are a chance for enthusiasts to get acquainted with the latest trends of ski and snowboard manufacturing, try out new products for free, exchange opinions, and get free consultations from specialist crafters.

As a part of Ski Force Winter Tour there will be free training courses offered, competitions, and prize challenges, for both skis and snowboards. In Chamrousse there will also be another funicular operating – Gaboureaux, so that the visitors will be able to test the new equipment on the spot, without additional expenses. This year the Chamrousse 1750 resort opens a new pendulum lift "la Croix", which is capable of transporting 3000 skiers per hour. Thus, all the people will spend considerably less time trying to get to the lift, or wait in line, and consequently spend more time on the slopes.

A day ski-pass costs 27€ and includes access to 90 kilometers of slopes, only 30 minutes away from Grenoble, where airplanes fly every day all throughout the winter season, incuding charter flights from Moscow.
