Fashion clothing for New Year's Eve Dec 19, 2009
The "style of Michael Jackson" promises to be the top trend during this winter holiday season, especially at the most luxurious events and parties of London and Paris.
"If a girl or a young woman wants that ultra-modern look this winter, she should definitely buy a jacket that looks like a uniform" – claimed a representative of the famous Paris design house "Jean-Paul Gaultier".
Michael Jackson style clothing lines were presented in practically every collection of the best designers, including Gaultier, and Alexander McQueen. Usually these are short jackets, decorated with golden or silver threading, and featuring wider shoulders. The jackets worn with very narrow dress pants or denim. During the past couple of weeks it has also become trendy to decorate the jackets with additional embroidery or epaulettes on one of the shoulders.
In Western Europe it is becoming more and more popular to stylize the traditional Russian dress "Matreshka". The dress includes a long embroidered skirt, with large flower-like patterns made in silk velvet, coupled with a single color blouse and multiple accessories. Furs and various Russian hats are also welcome.
For the most controversial effect, suitable for real risk-takers in Paris the trend-setters recommend the most modern style, called "the goldfinger". The style comes from the popular action movie with Agent 007, James Bond: a minimally short, but in the same time fluffy skirt with Hessian type, tall boots. The boots must of a golden color.
