Madrid, Spain to host FITUR-2010, tourism expo Jan 04, 2010Between January 20th and 24th another international tourism exposition takes place in Madrid. FITUR-2010 marks its 30th anniversary this year.
One of the main themes of the exhibition are topics in the environmental protection area. In connection with these topics the exhibition will feature a special collection of events, organized by the World tourism organization and the tourism organization of Madrid.
In addition to the above there will be a forum hosted at the exposition. The forum is dedicated innovative technologies in tourism and a big workshop is organized to brainstorm the tourism related education and job placement situation. A quite sensible Russian tour business representation is expected at the exposition. For Russian tourism companies Spain is a priority destination.
During the previous exposition there were 12 312 companies from 170 countries and regions, over 136 177 professional visitors and 8 470 journalists received accreditations.
