The Roman Empire on exhibit in Venice Jan 02, 2010At the end of January there will be an exposition opened on the first floor of the Venice Palazzo Grassi. The exhibition is called "Rome and the Barbarians" and is dedicated to the history of the Roman empire.
The exhibition will tell the story of how the fall of the Roman Empire influenced the development of culture, how the art of the barbarian tribes affected the old culture of the empire. The exhibition will feature sculptures, old coins, weapons, jewelry, household items, and many other items. The exhibition will last until July 20th. Back to news
