A look at Barcelona from skies Jan 17, 2010Since recently guests of Barcelona are able to enjoy the dishes prepared by one of the best cooks in Spain. The actual restaurant is over 100 meters above the earth. The highest restaurant in Barcelona – EVO, is located at the top of the Hesperia hotel.
The restaurant resembles a glass capsule having 24 meters in diameter and seamlessly hanging at 105 meters. The view from this 'observatory' are simply amazing.
EVO is one of the legendary restaurants of Santi Santamaria. This chef is one of the few remaining evangelists of the rather precious and important, from a cultural standpoint, tradition of conservative Spanish cuisine.
The chef 'masterpieces' contain ingredients that do not morph into some futuristic substances, instead they perfectly maintain their natural taste and aroma, as nature intended.
In order to reassure yourself of the fact that using just one or two ingredients one can create a most remarkable culinary composition, you should definitely try out the shrimp ravioli with mushroom sauce, grilled venison tenderloin with peach, pineapple, and red bell pepper chutney. Also try the pear with saffron ice-cream desert. As a rule of thumb every dinner menu contains a choice of around 7 different meals.
