Restaurant's cuisine, food masterpieces created by chef cook are the foundation of attractiveness for customers of every authentic restaurant. El Bulli restaurant, one of the best restaurants of Girona, Spain and of the world, repeatedly considered the winner of different ratings and nominations is soon to be closed for two years, 2012 and 2013, Ferran Adrià, the chef cook of the restaurant, reported. Ferran Adrià has been acclaimed an avant-garde cook and innovator in food insdustry.
The chef just wants to have some rest and it might take less than two years, but anyway Ferran does not know for sure when he wants to be back, but the El Bulli restaurant cannot exist without him.
However, leaving, the famous professional promises that by 2014 the restaurant located in Cala Montjoi hotel in Roses will be re-opened and will surprise all his permanent customers with the menu that will be totally changed on the occasion of anniversary. In 2014 it will be 30 years since the moment when Ferran became the chef of El Bulli.
Talking about the necessity of a long-term vacation, and his 15-hour daily work during several decades the chef said, 'The real cook is an artist, who has to do everything with his own hands. It's almost the same if the British fashion designer Galliano had to work at a plant'.
The management of the hotel was upset to confirm the information about upcoming vacation of the maestro of culinary art, expecting fewer visitors due to his leave. The glory of the chef was so great that some tourists came here just to try his gourmet menu.
