Discounts and summer events at Val d'IsèreJun 03, 2010Starting from June 26th, tourists booking hotels in Val d'Isère will receive a special "summer pass" as a gift. This free gift activity pass includes unlimited pedestrian access to the ski lifts, unlimited access to the swimming pool, guided tours, four of sports park activities and 10% off on numerous activities in the resort. The "summer pass" can be purchased separately in case if the hotel is booked at the moment. The price for a "one day pass" is 7 euro, "six day pass" – 18 euro.
Besides that, there will be the French mountain biking championship held in Val d'Isère from July 16th to 18th 2010. The top French mountain bikers will compete on the slopes of the resort.
Also, the guests of Val d'Isère have an opportunity to ride their own bicycles too and enjoy the local mountain trails. Val d'Isère is a small town in the Savoie department in the Rhone-Alpes region in south-eastern France. It lies 5 km from the border with Italy, on the border of the Vanoise National Park.
