Cow exhibition in RomeMay 18, 2010The streets and squares of Rome are literally flooded with cows, dressed in costumes of ancient Roman warriors, soccer players and other characters. This colorful show is dedicated to the first cow parade in the history of the city. The entire herds of cows made of glass fiber "walk" on the streets and squares of the city in terms of the popular charity event, which took place in 40 cities of the world already, including Paris, New York, Tokyo and London. The cows participating in this exhibition were selected out of hundreds presented by the local artists and sculptors, who were inspired by the views of Rome.
Two kids sitting under the cow represent an interesting version of famous symbol of the city, its founders Romulus and Remus, who were suckled by a she-wolf. In terms of this exhibition in Rome you will be able to see different characters of cows, including: Roman warriors, astronauts, cows-waiters, spider man and many other characters. The organizers of this event say that there will be about 100 cows presented until July 4th during this parade in Rome. Besides that, tourists and all interested people will be given special maps with location of exhibits.
