The most romantic city of the world Paris prepared a gift for all couples in love by Valentine’s Day but it will be possible to get it not only on the 14th of February. During the month of February all couples in love can enjoy the French capital and the program “Paris romantique”, developed by the Office of tourism of Paris, city administration with the support of Sofitel Luxury Hotels. According to the research conducted in 2008 by the internet portal TripAdvisor, the biggest touristic portal in the world, Paris was named the most romantic city of the world. Another prestigious portal Lonely Planet confirmed the leadership of the French capital Paris as the most romantic city.

“Paris romantique” suggests that couples in love discover Paris under one of four cultural programs Un jour à Paris (“One day in Paris”), Le temps d’un weekend (“The time of weekend”), Des vacances inoubliables (“Unforgettable vacation”) и Grandes occasions (“Great opportunities”).

More than 70 hotels, restaurants and cinema theaters take part in the promotion. All couples in love will get the opportunity to get special offers, gifts and discounts in hotels, make romantic walks in the city, have romantic dinners in any of the restaurants, Paris.fr reports. Besides that, guests will get an invitation to visit the Festival of romantic cinema in Paris (Festival du film romantique à Paris), which will take place from February 11 till February 17 in four cinema theaters Balzac (Champs-Elysées, 8e), Nouveau Latina (Marais, 4e), Reflet Médicis (Quartier Latin, 5e) and Studio 28 (Montmartre, 18e). Thirteen movies will be presented during the festival. The classic movies of the world cinematography “Jules et Jim”, “Le dernier metro” by François Truffaut, new movies “Two days in Paris” by Julie Delpy will be shown. All movies will be presented with subtitles in French and English.
