This spring Barcelona offers the perfect entertainment opportunity for all the fans of car and bike racing. Spain will be the fifth country this year to host the famous Formula One Grand Prix. The Catalonia Circuit Race will take place of the 10th of May; right after Melbourne (Austria), Kuala-Lumpur (Malaysia), Shanghai (China), and Bahrain’s “Sakhir” decide upon their winners. Kimi Räikkönen, who was the winner last year in Catalonia, plans to repeat his success regardless of such strong competitors like Philippe Massa, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonzo. And if, for any reason, you are unable to make it to the Catalonia Championship, there’s no need to worry. In August Spain hosts the European Formula One Grand Prix on the Valencia Circuit Track.

If you are lucky enough to be in Barcelona this May, apart from the Formula One Grand Prix, you will also have a chance to visit the International Motorsports Show celebrating its 90th anniversary. From May 9th till 17th the leaders of the business, as well as individual racing enthusiasts will gather at the Fira Center in Barcelona. It is interesting that this event attracts a growing number of visitors this year, notwithstanding the niche exclusiveness.
